Gladesville Park

At Gladesville park, the inner western suburb of Sydney is a beautiful sandstone cottage that dated back to the 1880's. Classified by the National Trust, "Rockend" is where A.B.'Banjo' Paterson lived as a young man with his grandmother.

Today the Banjo Paterson Cottage operates as a restaurant which is popular for functions and wedding. I attended a wedding there a few years ago and it is indeed a wonderful place to host a special event with its water view, pier and garden.
